| The church of St Martin
of Tours stands at the top of Church Road, Maxton, in the parish of Hougham. It was in this church that I was baptised. My daughter was also baptised here. |

There has never been a burial ground associated with this church - it was built after burials in churchyards ceased in the late 19th century. | ||
