Tour of Britain Cycle Race 2006

The tour entering Dover at around 2.35pm on Saturday 2nd September

Police Motorcyclists stop the traffic before the arrival of the riders

The arrival was delayed by approximately an hour by a mistake at the start in Rochester

A huge entourage of support vehicles follow the riders down Folkestone Road past the Priory Station

The traffic was stopped for about 5 minutes; the whole of the field of riders flashed past in about 10 seconds!  It was only possible to get these three photographs of the riders.

The leading riders flash past ...

... closely followed by the rest of the pack
